Danube Properties, the Dubai-based real estate developer, has teamed up with Air India Express to introduce the first-of-its-kind airline livery carrying Shah Rukh Khan, a Bollywood actor. This is yet another effort made by the company to leverage the star power of celebrities for its branding strategy through the use of an aircraft to advertise the brand.

The unique airline livery has been introduced on the VT-GHC aircraft of Air India Express. The objective of this airline marketing effort is to create association between Danube Properties and people in India as well as West Asia and Southeast Asia.

This is a case of real estate, entertainment and aviation coming together with the help of Shah Rukh Khan as the central personality in the campaign. Through this campaign, Danube Properties intends to create visibility through an aircraft for its brand.

Airline Advertising Reaches Further into Brand Space

By using the exterior of the plane as a branding tool, there could be possibilities to reach the customers from different locations via a traveling platform that may come to different airports and different networks within its travels. In comparison to static outdoor advertising, an aircraft moves around and gives chances to showcase brands on its body and to its customers.

Moreover, this particular campaign will have additional possibilities to create some visibility with the use of photos, videos and social media posts about the aircraft itself. Combination of recognition of the celebrity and aircraft branding is expected to increase visibility of the brand.

As Sunil Suresh, Head of Marketing, E-commerce and Loyalty, at Air India Group, stated in his comment, aircrafts provide good ways to express one's brand in a visual form. Mr. Suresh noted that Shah Rukh Khan is recognizable all over the world among different generations and geographical borders. Special livery of the plane will convey this message all over the airline network.

According to the report, Air India Express operates more than 450 weekly flights between India and the United Arab Emirates. Its network provides a relevant platform for Danube Properties to reach Indian audiences and travellers connecting with the UAE, where the developer has an established presence.

Danube Properties Leverages Shah Rukh Khan Branding

The new campaign through the aircraft leverages Danube Properties' association with Shah Rukh Khan from the project known as SHAHRUKHZ by Danube which is a 55 storey tower developed in Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai. The project was announced in November 2025 and constitutes a part of the company's premium commercial real estate projects.

The branding project is aimed at leveraging the connection between the profile of Shah Rukh Khan and Danube Properties that revolves around ambition, business expansion and success on an international level. The branding campaign moves beyond the property itself to reach a bigger audience through an aviation platform.

Rizwan Sajan, the Founder and Chairman of Danube Group, related the campaign with ambitions and perseverance and achievement on a global level. Mr. Sajan called the new aircraft a moving landmark that will carry the stories of Danube Properties to people in India and other parts of the world.

The campaign creates a link between the marketing of the company's real estate and the overall brand communication where the former one is carried out in Dubai's commercial property market while the latter through the aircraft.

Out-of-Home Advertising Meets Celebrity Branding

The tour speaks to the application of aviation as an out-of-home advertising platform. Aircraft liveries allow brands to use a vast tangible platform for messaging and have reach potential across multiple destinations. They can also benefit from product presence at airports and the dissemination of aircraft imagery online.

Among Danube Properties, the campaign not only taps celebrity awareness, it also piggybacks on the airline network. For Air India Express, the partnership brings a unique branded aircraft to its fleet, another iteration of aircraft as a medium for brand communication.

The true scope of the campaign and its commercial effects are unknown by the publication. The cost, timescale, and value of the partnership, as well as date of launch and duration, have not been revealed.

But the Dubai-based property developer shows how real estate brands are using entertainment endorsers and alternative advertising channels to build out their media footprint beyond any single property. Using the star power of Shah Rukh Khan with the distribution footprint of Air India Express, Danube Properties hopes to broadcast its Dubai real estate brand across several markets.
