Bangur Concrete, part of the Bangur Master Brand of Shree Cement, has marked its entry into Chhattisgarh with the commissioning of its first Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) facility in Raipur. The plant, located at Seri Khedi, has a production capacity of 60 cubic meters per hour and is designed to cater to the state’s fast-growing infrastructure and real estate requirements.

The move expands Bangur Concrete’s footprint in eastern India, where demand for sustainable construction materials has been rising steadily with rapid urbanization and industrial development. The Raipur unit is expected to serve both government and private sector projects, offering reliable and eco-conscious concrete solutions.

The company emphasized that the facility has been built to deliver high-performance concrete while reducing the environmental impact of production and logistics. Modern batching systems, precision-controlled material handling, and automated processes form the backbone of the unit’s operations. By adopting these measures, Bangur Concrete aims to enhance efficiency and minimize wastage, contributing to lower carbon emissions.

Neeraj Akhoury, Managing Director, Shree Cement said, “Chhattisgarh represents a dynamic and rapidly growing market with immense infrastructure potential. By commissioning our first Ready Mix Concrete plant in Raipur, Bangur Concrete is taking a significant step in its national growth journey. This facility strengthens our presence in eastern India and reinforces our commitment to delivering sustainable, high-quality concrete solutions to support the region’s evolving needs. The Raipur plant reflects our broader vision of contributing to India’s infrastructure growth while ensuring environmentally responsible practices.”

With this launch, Bangur Concrete now operates a network of 22 RMC plants across India. Each of these facilities incorporates advanced batching and stringent quality control processes, ensuring consistency and operational reliability. The company has been positioning itself as a partner for green construction practices, aiming to align with India’s broader climate and sustainability goals.

The Raipur plant also reflects Bangur Concrete’s strategy of integrating technology-driven processes with streamlined logistics. The design enables quicker delivery of materials to construction sites across the region, reducing lead times and supporting faster execution of infrastructure and housing projects. The emphasis on environmentally responsible production practices underscores the company’s commitment to a low-carbon future.

Chhattisgarh has been witnessing a steady rise in infrastructure activity, with investments across housing, commercial, industrial, and public projects. By establishing a dedicated RMC unit in Raipur, Bangur Concrete is positioning itself to play a key role in meeting this demand while contributing to the state’s development trajectory.

The company indicated that further expansions in other high-growth regions are being considered as part of its long-term plan to scale its RMC business across India.
