New Delhi, 1st September 2025: Knauf India, World’s No.1 company in Drywall & Ceiling Solutions, introduces modern raised Flooring Systems - GIFAfloor System, a high-performance, gypsum-based solution designed to revolutionize modern flooring. This new line offers a fast, dry, and eco-friendly alternative to traditional construction methods.

Knauf GIFAfloor Systems are a new line of high-performance, gypsum-based flooring systems designed for modern buildings. The product is made from high-density, non-combustible gypsum fiber core panels that are primed on both sides, providing a quick, dry, and sustainable flooring option. The panels support a wide variety of top layers, including tiles, vinyl, wood, and carpet. All systems are installed with a complete set of accessories, such as adhesive, pedestals, and gaskets, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free process. These systems are an alternative to traditional wet construction methods, as they do not require cement or wet work for installation.

The Knauf GIFAfloor range includes two key systems:

  • GIFA Floor DB Green – Raised Access Floor Systems: A ready-to-install, monolithic panel that can support up to 4 kN of weight. It offers up to 60 minutes of fire resistance, making it suitable for modern office buildings, data centers, and other commercial spaces with heavy foot traffic.
  • GIFAfloor FHB – Hollow Floor System: Interlocking panels that can handle loads up to 20 kN and provide up to 90 minutes of fire resistance. With acoustic insulation up to 34 dB, this system is ideal for noise-sensitive areas like hospitals and schools.
