Bengaluru's airport belt is getting a big hotel cluster. Hilton has signed agreements with Kalyani Group for Conrad Bengaluru Airport and Hilton Bengaluru Airport. Together, they add 600 rooms. Both are due to open in 2030.

Hilton announced the signing on 6 October 2026.

What is being built

Each hotel will have 300 rooms. Guests will get dining venues, wellness facilities and meeting spaces. The complex will have more than 72,000 sq ft of event space. That makes it a serious option for conferences, corporate events and weddings.

The cluster will be Hilton's second Conrad and fourth Hilton hotel in Bengaluru. Two brands at one site lets the group serve two price points from one location.

A repeat partnership

This is not the first project between the two. Kalyani Group worked with Hilton on DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Whitefield, which opened in 2024. Repeat signings usually point to confidence on both sides.

Alan Watts, Hilton's president for Asia Pacific, said the company wants to serve the changing needs of travellers in the city. Mohan Raju, managing director of Kalyani Developers, said the hotels will meet the city's rising demand for quality hospitality.

Why the location matters

The site is in the KIADB Hi-Tech Defence and Aerospace Park, close to the airport. Bengaluru is a tech and business hub. It draws a steady stream of corporate travel and large events. Hotels near the airport suit short stays, transit guests and meetings that need easy access.

India expansion

Hilton has eight hotels operating in India and 11 under development, according to trade reports. Bengaluru is its largest Indian market by number of hotels. This signing adds to that lead.

The 2030 opening date is a few years away, so timelines can still change. Watch for a construction-start announcement from Kalyani Group.
