Actor Shah Rukh Khan has added a luxury real estate acquisition to his already substantial portfolio by buying the last two floors of his family residence in Panchsheel Park, Delhi. The 37 crore rupees reportedly paid deal makes the actor's and his family owning the whole residential building that they hold dearly as a piece of the family heritage.
Before the actor had moved to Mumbai to launch his career in the film industry, the building used to be the family home of Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan. Besides the basement of the house and the first floor already being under family ownership, by completing the purchase the family now has the upper two floors as well, This way getting the whole house to themselves.
The property is a spacious residence spread across 1,200-square-yard site with a total area of 10,800 square feet. It sits in one of the most upscale residential areas of South Delhi. The price paid (37 crore rupees) can be taken as the valuation of about 34,260 rupees per square foot of the land.
This purchase will not only add another top class residential property to Shah Rukh Khan's growing property holdings, but the actor and his partner have also over the years been adding to their portfolios of fancy properties both in India and abroad. In India itself, they have properties in places like Mumbai whereas they have some in Dubai too.
Shah Rukh Khan, with Gauri Khan as his partner, is closely related to luxury real estate. Gauri Khan being an interior designer has been a major help as she has made major contributions in several of their homes. Their Mumbai home Mannat is one of the few houses in India that the fans really recognize as belonging to an actor.
