Mahindra Lifespaces, the real estate and infrastructure arm of the Mahindra Group, has announced the launch of a premium residential project named Mahindra Blossom aimed at Whitefield residents, Bengaluru. The potential gross development value (GDV) is approximately ₹1,900 crore, as per the regulatory filing made by the company.
The newly launched project is the third net-zero residential development of Mahindra Lifespaces in Bengaluru, thus the company is supporting the sustainable housing theme which involves less harm to the environment and the urban lifestyle of the future. The project is strategically located near the Hopefarm–Channasandra metro station area. It is therefore very well connected to Bengaluru's eastern IT corridor, which is one of the most significant employment hubs of the city.
Mahindra Blossom is to have a mix of 2, 3, 3.5, and 4 BHK flats area-wise, thereby the project would be able to provide a range of the residential segments of the end-users in the premium housing sector. Whitefield, as a residential area, has become the most attractive destination with the benefit of the metro connectivity, improved infrastructure, and the large IT and commercial developments that have been the area’s feature lately.
For Mahindra Lifespace, Bengaluru is a key city where they plan to grow their residential developments in strong, end-user-driven cities. Vimalendra Singh, Chief Business Officer – Residential at Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd, said that the Mahindra Blossom project is a clear example of this strategy by offering attractive and eco-friendly homes in a high-value location.
Whitefield is still experiencing a demand that is quite stable, which is good news for the area due to the enhanced connectivity and strong employment base. Singh mentioned that the company’s previous launches in Bengaluru had demonstrated strong brand appeal and received significant customer response, thus, Mahindra Blossom is likely to be the vehicle that will carry the positive momentum forward.
Furthermore, the initiative will include nearly 97,000 square feet of club and lifestyle amenities that will be created to promote community living. Besides this, Mahindra Blossom will have high-street retail spaces to provide residents with the utmost convenience in terms of daily necessities and recreation right within the development.
Mahindra Lifespaces’ focus on sustainability is one reason why they keep advancing net-zero residential developments. By Mahindra Blossom, they want to set up the standard for luxury housing to be energy efficient, less resource-demanding, and beneficial for the environment in the long run.
The launch in Bengaluru is a follow-up to another major announcement made by the company earlier this month. In December 2025, Mahindra Lifespaces declared that it would be redeveloping a 1.53-acre housing society in Matunga, Mumbai, with a revenue potential of ₹1,010 crore, thereby enhancing its footprint in prime urban micro-markets.
As of now, the development footprint of Mahindra Lifespaces spans 53.30 million square feet of saleable area comprising completed, ongoing, and forthcoming residential projects in seven Indian cities. Additionally, the firm carries out integrated developments and industrial cluster projects over four locations covering upwards of 5,000 acres of area, where it has both ongoing and upcoming projects under development and management.
With Mahindra Blossom, the company goes on to broaden its premium residential portfolio and at the same time, take full advantage of the Bengaluru housing demand which is on the rise with an excellent position in one of India’s most resilient real estate markets,” commented the company.
