Uttar Pradesh, November 2025: Krishna Bhumi Arcade, an initiative by Infinity Group in partnership with the Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department of Uttar Pradesh and Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad (BTVP) has announced the development of a 140-Acre sacred green zone along the Yamuna bank. The site lies between the Parikrama Marg and the Yamuna riverbank, one of Vrindavan’s most spiritually significant and ecologically sensitive areas.
The project marks the beginning of a long-term green vision for Braj. Infinity Group is creating a self-sustaining ecological system that will benefit the region for generations. The plans include fruit-bearing trees to support the Shree Krishna Gaushala, flowering plantations to supply fresh flowers to local ashrams and temples and large-scale native species to strengthen riverbank ecology, reduce heat, improve soil health, restore biodiversity and enhance pollution absorption.
Together, these initiatives aim to build a resilient, perennial ecological economy for Vrindavan Dham.
While inaugurating the event, Dr. Arun Kumar Saxena, State Minister (Independent Charge), Forest, Environment, Forest Protection & Climate Change, Government of Uttar Pradesh said, “Global warming and rising temperatures demand immediate action, and reducing carbon dioxide begins with planting and protecting trees. Our Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s message, ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’, captures this beautifully, and today’s plantation drive by revered saints strengthens that national mission.”
By the time Kumbh 2031 arrives, lakhs of pilgrims will be able to enjoy the cool shade of these trees and breathe cleaner air.
While addressing the audience, Mr. Ravindra Chamaria, Chairman and Managing Director, Infinity Group, said, “Braj is not merely a region of spiritual significance, it is an ecological heritage that carries thousands of years of cultural memory. As Vrindavan Dham evolves into a global spiritual destination with unprecedented footfall and connectivity, the responsibility to protect its natural character becomes even greater.“
“The Panchvati plantation is not just a CSR effort, it is a commitment to ensure that progress never comes at the cost of the Dham’s ecological soul. At Infinity Group, we believe that development must always honor landscape, legacy, and divinity. This 140-acre green restoration is our way of safeguarding Vrindavan’s future by reviving the Vrindavan our scriptures speak of.” he added.
While speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ravee Shankar, Chief Marketing Officer, Krishna Bhumi Arcade, said, “Vrindavan is entering a decisive phase of growth. With Rs. 30,000+ crore worth of cultural and infrastructural development reshaping the Braj corridor and the upcoming Jewar Airport enhancing global connectivity, the sacred city is rapidly emerging as one of the world’s most significant spiritual destinations. With annual pilgrimage expected to rise from 2.45 crore to nearly 6 crores over the next five years, such a scale demands sustainable ecological buffers that protect the environment, support the local community, enrich the pilgrim experience and preserve the spiritual sanctity of Vrindavan.”
“Krishna Bhumi Arcade, an initiative of Infinity Group and India’s first religious and cultural product mall, is an extension of our core philosophy of seva. Local businesses will gain a global platform to showcase their offerings, while pilgrims will enjoy a standardized, hassle-free shopping experience, all at one place, under one roof.” he added.
