Ashok Mittal, a South Delhi resident, has bought a two-floor bungalow in the elite Sunder Nagar area for ₹65 crores as per the documents accessed by CRE Matrix, a real estate data analytics firm. The property located at one of Delhi’s most luxurious and desirable areas is a sign of the continuous demand for high-end luxury residential in Lutyens’ Delhi.
The bungalow which is a multi-floor is located on a plot of 866 square yards. The total area of 4,846.88 sq ft of the ground and basement floors was purchased for ₹34 crore, and the buyer has paid a stamp duty of ₹2.38 crore. The first floor (3,118.62 sq ft) was acquired for ₹31 crore, and the stamp duty for this transaction was ₹2.17 crore. The agreement was made on October 31, 2025.
According to the brokers of the local area, Sunder Nagar is the place where lawyers of top calibre, businesspeople, and other influential figures would most likely want to live. The Sunder Nagar area is still one of the most luxurious and sought-after residential spaces in New Delhi where a person can have complete privacy, be close to central Delhi and relish in the charm of heritage style buildings.
