Propstack, a real estate and analytics company, has made a strategic enterprise partnership with CBRE South Asia to integrate its data and analytics platform across CBRE’s India operations. The phased rollout, which is to begin in September 2026, is aimed at improving market intelligence, investment analysis and client advisory services.
The integration will support CBRE teams working across investment advisory, occupier advisory, market intelligence and client reporting. Propstack’s proprietary data infrastructure and predictive analytics will be combined with CBRE’s existing research capabilities, market expertise and client relationships.
The development comes as real estate decisions increasingly involve large volumes of market, transaction and property-level data, particularly across institutional investment and commercial real estate.
CBRE to integrate Propstack’s platform across its India operations
Under the agreement, CBRE will integrate Propstack’s platform into its India operations in phases across key service lines. The rollout is expected to support teams involved in investment advisory, occupier advisory, market intelligence and client reporting.
For CBRE, the integration is intended to complement its existing research and market intelligence capabilities. The company said bringing the platform into its workflows could help its teams respond faster to client requirements and develop deeper insights for major real estate decisions.
Anshuman Magazine, chairman and CEO – India, South-East Asia, Middle East & Africa, CBRE, said clients rely on the company for timely insights and that bringing Propstack’s platform into its workflows would help teams “move faster and go deeper.”
The agreement focuses on integrating data and analytical capabilities into the services CBRE already provides to its clients.
What Propstack brings to CBRE’s real estate services
Propstack specialises in real estate market intelligence, investment analysis and occupier advisory. The company has also previously collaborated with Estater on AI-driven real estate intelligence across India and the Middle East. Its platform uses proprietary data collection, machine learning and geospatial analytics to support decision-making by institutional investors, developers, operators and real estate service providers.
The platform is expected to give CBRE teams access to data and predictive analytics that can be used alongside its existing research and market expertise.
For investment advisory, such capabilities can support the analysis of markets and assets. In occupier advisory, data can help assess locations and commercial space requirements, while market intelligence teams can use property and transaction information to understand changing market conditions.
The companies have not disclosed financial terms of the enterprise agreement or provided a detailed breakdown of the specific Propstack tools that will be deployed across each CBRE service line.
Why data is becoming more important in real estate decisions
The growing institutionalisation of India's real estate market is increasing the importance of reliable and detailed market data. Propstack co-founder Raja Seetharaman said the participation of sovereign wealth funds, private equity investors, foreign pension funds and publicly listed REITs has increased demand for verifiable and auditable real estate data.
For institutional investors, real estate decisions can involve evaluating property values, transaction activity, rental markets, occupier demand and potential investment returns across multiple locations. Access to timely data can therefore become an important part of the analysis carried out before an investment or acquisition decision.
This also extends to developers and occupiers. Developers can use market intelligence to assess potential locations and demand, while occupiers can evaluate office markets, rental conditions and suitable locations for their operations.
Propstack's use of machine learning and geospatial analytics adds another layer to this process by allowing market and property data to be analysed across different locations and variables.
What the integration could mean for real estate
The CBRE-Propstack agreement reflects a wider move towards incorporating technology and data into professional real estate services. Rather than relying only on periodic market reports or manually compiled information, advisory firms can increasingly use continuously updated datasets and analytical tools alongside traditional research.
For CBRE, the phased integration will bring Propstack's platform into existing workflows rather than creating a separate data service. This could allow teams across investment advisory, occupier advisory and client reporting to use the platform as part of their existing work.
The impact will ultimately depend on how extensively the platform is adopted across CBRE's operations and how its data is incorporated into client-facing analysis. However, the agreement highlights the growing role of data infrastructure in a real estate market where investors, developers and occupiers increasingly require detailed and timely information.
For the wider industry, the development points to a real estate advisory landscape in which data capabilities are becoming increasingly closely linked with traditional market research and expertise.
